Mike Rothman began welding in high school. Working in the technology room at Fayetteville-Manlius High School sparked an interest in welding as a career. He learned and created throughout his four years at F-M before attending SUNY Delhi (Delhi, NY), majoring in welding and fabrication. He earned a two-year degree in the field, and went on to perform welding and fabrication duties at JPW Rigging in Syracuse, NY, and later at FilterTech in Manlius.
Throughout his adult life, Mike has continued welding and fabrication as both a hobby and a side business. He has worked on street rods, sculpture and other artwork, and tools and other equipment used in the workplace and everyday life.
